Distress Centre is committed to furthering the field of Social Work, and we view practicum students as a great asset to our organization. Practicum opportunities exist year round within the Crisis Line Program and Counselling Program. Other opportunities, with a member of the Leadership Team for example, also exist.
We primarily take practicum students from the field of Social Work, but we also take students from a wide variety of background. If you are interested in a practicum at the Distress Centre, you can submit a resume, cover letter and references to: practicum@stagingdc.podmarketinginc.com.
