“I had a fellow message me on Facebook and tell me that he saw my story on Global and it touched him – he shared that he has been planning his suicide for a year and my story made him think that maybe there was another way.  Amazing!  Telling my story made it all worth while.”

Judy Wilkie, Caller

Whether it’s a birthday fundraiser, a push-up challenge, or a community walk or run, there are so many ways you can fundraise for Distress Centre and support people in crisis.

By donating securities, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds directly to us, as opposed to selling them and donating the proceeds, you can make a bigger impact and eliminate capital gains tax. This means more for the charity and a greater charitable tax credit and tax-efficient way for you.
